In 1904, the Olympic Marathon was a shambles.
A lawless chaos with all to play for, an ever-receding finish line, and everyone desperately just putting one foot in front of the other.
In 2020, in the height of the pandemic, this resonated. So a group of musical makers from across the UK created The Marathon Project.
Sheep Soup worked alongside incredible companies and solo artists including Burnt Lemon, The Letter Room and Operation Mincemeat creators SpitLip to produce an original concept album and some awesome live session videos at Fiction Studios,
